Basak received her B.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University. She began to work in the pharmaceutical sector in 2001 and she has an experience and expertise in R&D, Quality and Regulatory. She served as a Regulatory and Market Access Director in the pharma industry for many years. Currently she is working as Deputy Secretary General in AIFD responsible for the Strategic Management Committees on Regulations and Legislation.
